Prior to Inter’s final Champions League group stage match against Barcelona tomorrow night, Inter manager Antonio Conte spoke with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
“We need to play the game with great courage to try and go beyond the beautiful high obstacle that is in front of us,” the former Italian national team manager, who took charge of Inter this past Summer, started.
“Still being in contention to qualify on the final day of the group stage means that we have had a good journey in the competition. Now we need to take the last step against a great team in Barcelona. This match must stimulate us and give us enthusiasm to move forward.”
Inter head into this match with their Champions League destiny in their own hands. Inter will progress to the knockout stages if they win or match the result that Borussia Dortmund achieve in their match against Slavia Prague.
