Lazio president Claudio Lotito has confirmed that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is not for sale ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
Lotito was interviewed as part of the most recent episode of Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset show Tiki Taka and was asked how much he values the coveted Serbian international midfielder at.
“Milinkovic-Savic is happy to remain at Lazio and no one has put him on the market,” Lotito stressed.
The 24-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best box-to-box midfielders on the planet and has drawn links to a whole host of clubs including Inter, Juventus and Manchester United in the past.
This season Milinkovic-Savic, who is under contract with Lazio through to the end of the 2023/24 season, has made 19 appearances across all competitions for the capital city club. In just shy of 1500 minutes on the park, he has scored four goals and provided six assists for his teammates.
