Parma coach Roberto D’Aversa discussed Inter target Dejan Kulusevski and his slightly more muted performances recently in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia, following the Emilian club’s 1-0 win over Sampdoria yesterday.

“He’s an intelligent guy and a lot of rumours are surrounding him. We have to be good at not putting too much responsibility on him.”

The Nerazzurri are incredibly keen to sign the 19-year-old Swedish midfielder, who is on loan at Parma from Atalanta. He has impressed in his performances so far this season, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 17 appearances for the Emilian club.

His strong abilities and calmness on the ball have seen clubs across Europe start following him, including Inter’s rivals for the league title Juventus, as well as foreign clubs from England, Spain and Germany.

Considering Parma’s unwillingness to let the player leave in January, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta is hoping to sign Kulusevski next summer instead.
