In an interview with Italian radio station Gr Parlamento, Pirelli chief executive Marco Tronchetti Provera has shared his thoughts on Inter’s performances so far this season.

“We are still at the stage of the season where anything can ultimately happen. It is too early to make judgements. The dream for Inter is to win the title but we will see if it will happen,” he began.

“Inter are playing with maximum effort given the many absences that they have. They are an extremely competitive side. They have a strong defence, enormous potential in attack and everyone is committed to overcome the difficult moment brought on by the many injuries.”

He was then asked about Inter’s match with Barcelona in the Champions League group stage.

“It is an important match and once which you await with trepidation. We will have to support the team from the first to the last minute.”
