Antonio Conte is greatly bitter and disappointed about Inter’s exit from the Champions League earlier on this week according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter crashed out of the competition at the group stage for the second year running as they failed to beat a much rotated Barcelona side at San Siro on Tuesday night.

Conte is however well aware that his team was not the best it could have been. Injuries have led to several players who would not normally play, playing more and Conte has not hidden the fact that he believes the team is lacking in certain areas either.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to explain that yesterday morning when Inter returned to training, club president Steven Zhang was present. Zhang gave a motivational speech of sorts to the players in a bid to raise their spirits.
