Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti has confirmed that Sofyan Amrabat and Amir Rrahmani will not be leaving the club during the January transfer window.
Both players have attracted interest from elsewhere with Amrabat drawing links to Inter, Napoli and Fiorentina. Napoli have also been linked with a move for Kosovan international Rrahmani.
“Can we keep Amrabat and Rrahmani? The team must pursue the goal that we have set out which is securing safety and they must remain united,” he told Italian broadcaster Sky Sport 24.
“There will be rumours but I absolutely believe that these players will not move in the coming transfer window. We hope that they can continue like this and hope that the value of these players will continue to rise.”
Amrabat has been almost ever present since his arrival from Club Brugge in the Summer appearing in all barring one of their 16 games to date but the Moroccan has failed to make any goal contributions. Rrahmani on the other hand has played in every game.
