The future of Eddie Salcedo was brought up during this afternoon’s meeting between Inter management and Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti at Inter headquarters according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Italian youth international is currently out on loan at the Gialloblu club from the Nerazzurri and has made nine appearances across all competitions. In 453 minutes on the park, he has scored one goal.

Hellas Verona are keen to extend the 18-year-old’s loan by a further 12 months and are also keen to get an option to buy attached to that extension. Inter, as per the report, want around €20 million to sell Salcedo and the clubs will meet for further discussions in the coming weeks and months.

During that same meeting, the report goes on to state that Inter declared their interest in three of Salcedo’s teammates at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in midfielder Sofyan Amrabat and central defenders Amir Rrahani and Marash Kumbulla.
