Inter management met with Hellas Verona president Maurizio Setti today to discuss several of his club’s players according to a report from Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Sofyan Amrabat was one of the players brought up in conversation between the two clubs. Inter have taken a real liking to the Moroccan international midfielder, who Hellas Verona will sign permanently for €3.5 million at the end of the season before looking to sell him on for €15 million. Inter are not the only Serie A club keen on him either with Napoli also mentioned as being interested.

Inter also enquired about central defenders Marash Kumbulla and especially Amir Rrahmani. Rrahmani is viewed by Inter as a player similar to Milan Skriniar.

The report goes on to conclude that the talks between the clubs were only preliminary talks with a view to meeting again in the near future.
