Inter will find it difficult to sign Arturo Vidal from Barcelona in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Milanese newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Chilean midfielder’s play time has significantly reduced this season compared to previous seasons and he has not hidden his disappointment and even admitted he will be forced to consider his future if things do not change.
Inter manager Antonio Conte seemingly deems the 32-year-old as the ideal player to bolster Inter’s midfield department but Vidal may only remain an idea for the Nerazzurri.
Inter wish to sign him on a loan basis but Barcelona are adamant that they will not loan him and only let him go for a considerable amount with some other reports in the media stating they could demand as much as €40 million.
This season Vidal has made 16 appearances across all competitions. In 631 minutes on the park, he has scored four goals and provided two assists.
