Inter’s plans for Ionut Radu next season will have a bearing on contract renewals being offered to Daniele Padelli and Tomasso Berni according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Radu is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A club Genoa and is widely expected to takeover from Samir Handanovic as Inter’s number one in the coming years.

The Romanian shot-stopper could spend the next season as the Slovenian’s deputy and takeover from him as Inter’s starting goalkeeper the following season.

For the past few seasons back-up Padelli and third-choice Berni have signed annual one year contracts and the report states that both of their representatives are awaiting news on the renewal front.

Padelli joined on a free transfer from Torino back in 2017 but has made just two appearances since, with both of those appearances coming in the Coppa Italia. Berni re-joined Inter, where he came through the youth academy, back in 2014 but has not played whatsoever.
