The chances of Franck Ribery being passed fit to play against Inter this coming weekend are getting slimmer and slimmer according to a report from Firenze Viola.

Ribery, who joined La Viola on a free transfer over the Summer, has been dealing with an ankle injury and was expected to return to full training today ahead of Sunday’s match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

That however did not happen and it will all come down to how he feels tomorrow when Vincenzo Montella’s side will conclude their preparations for the match against the table-topping Nerazzurri.

The veteran French winger has missed the past two games due to the injury and it is looking increasingly likely that he will miss a third straight game.

Since his arrival in Florence, the 36-year-old has made 11 appearances across all competitions. In 714 minutes on the field, he has scored two goals and provided two assists for his teammates.
