Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella will make a number of changes for this weekend’s match at home to Inter according to a report from Italian radio station Radio Bruno Toscana.
Montella will abandon the four man defensive system he has been using as of late and will instead mirror the system his side will come up against, a 3-5-2.
Captain German Pezzella will make a return from injury and he will slot into the back line alongside Martin Caceres and Nikola Milenkovic. Dalbert and Pol Lirola will occupy the wing back roles.
The midfield will consist of Gaetano Castorvilli, Erick Pulgar and Milan Badelj, who, upon recovering from injury, will take the place of Marco Benassi.
Federico Chiesa will start up front as the Viola look to avoid a fifth straight defeat in the league but it remains to be seen who Montella will decide to partner him with. As things stand, Dusan Vlahovic is more likely to play with him than Kevin Prince Boateng.
