Fiorentina midfielder and Inter transfer target Gaetano Castrovilli discussed tonight’s game against the Nerazzurri in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“The loss of Ribery will be a heavy absence both on and off the pitch. If I have to score a goal against Conte’s team or in one of the games where Franck won’t be there, I will dedicate it to him.”

The Italian touched on his idols when he was a kid.

“Ronaldinho and Kaka. I supported AC Milan as a kid.”

The 22-year-old midfielder spoke about how to beat Inter, who are currently top of the league table.

“With conviction. And by putting on the pitch more hunger. It won’t be easy. Conte has put a frightening meanness into Inter.”

Castrovilli was clear on which player he would take from the Nerazzurri squad.

“Too easy, Lautaro.”

He spoke about which player could score the decisive goal for Fiorentina tonight.

“Chiesa. He’s so so strong. Federico is one who can win games on his own.”

The Italian midfielder defended his coach, Vincenzo Montella, who has come under fire recently for the team’s poor results.

“All of us have gone through a delicate moment in our lives. And I’m not just talking about football. Montella will come out of it. And I’ll give everything for him. If I’ve started living a dream, I owe it all to him.”

Finally, Castrovilli refused to discuss Inter’s interest in him.

“Today I’m just thinking about Fiorentina.”
