Former Inter and AC Milan forward Antonio Cassano discussed the Nerazzurri’s disappointing 1-1 draw against Fiorentina last night on the Italian talk show Tiki Taka.

“In Italy the team has made less of an effort than in Europe where they play football. Inter will end Christmas first in the standings with Juve, they both have two easy matches. I didn’t think at the beginning of the season that it could go like this and I still say that Inter will win the league at the end but today I was impressed once again.”

Cassano then gave an interesting anecdote from his time with AC Milan, from the season they last won the Scudetto under coach Massimiliano Allegri.

“I have to thank him for what he did. There’s an episode that I can tell you about because it’s now safe to discuss. There was a fight between Ibra and Seedorf before Fiorentina against Milan and then we won 2-0.”

“Clarence took the ball and said today we do not train. Ibra was going to meet him. Allegri took the ball and made us put it in a circle telling us that he was in charge and we had to do what he said.”

“‘You fight, you insult each other but you do what I say.’ Both Seedorf and Ibra went on the pitch and we won six to seven games in a row.”
