Inter, AC Milan and the Milan city council are set to meet once more over the two clubs new stadium project according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.
Heading into this meeting, the clubs and council find themselves some way apart from an agreement and have several obstacles to overcome.
The stalemate, as per the report, is destined to continue for a while longer yet as no substantial progress is expected to be made in the meeting.
Due to the current situation, the clubs have began to look around at other areas where they could possibly build their new state-of-the-art stadium. The former Falck area in Sesto San Giovanni is one alternative destination whilst the San Donato area of the city is another.
The report from the Milanese newspaper goes on to state that the council committee which this issue concerns are to meet with architect Riccardo Aceti today to discuss the renovation of San Siro.
