Inter have a three man shortlist to reinforce at full back in the fast-approaching January transfer window according to a report from Roman news outlet La Repubblica.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is expecting to be given some reinforcements in the January transfer window due to several injuries leaving his squad down to the bare bones.

The Nerazzurri are looking at Parma’s Matteo Darmian and Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri to strengthen at full back.

Full back is just one of a number of positions they are looking to strengthen at with another central midfielder and striker both believed to be on the wish list.

With regards to the midfield, Inter like Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul, Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal and Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski, who is currently out on loan at fellow Serie A side Parma.

As for striker, Inter are thinking about Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman is out of favour at Chelsea and seemingly keen to find himself new employers in January where he can get more playing time to help his case to be included in the France squad for EURO 2020.

Dries Mertens was also an idea but Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has already ruled out the Belgian departing in January to another Italian club.
