In an interview with Italian television programme Verissimo, Wanda Icardi, the wife, and agent, of Mauro Icardi has spoken on his future with Inter.
The 26-year-old striker departed the club following months of controversy for Paris Saint Germain on transfer deadline day of the Summer window and has done very well having scored 13 goals in 16 games across all competitions.
“I still live in Milan. Let’s see what is best for Mauro’s career. On the last day of the transfer market, the option of going to PSG came up and we immediately said yes because we knew that it would be a great opportunity for him. I do not know what destiny has in store for us,” she explained.
She also spoke on Inter’s recent elimination from the Champions League.
“I was very disappointed because I have a son who is an Inter fan and he cried. We still belong to Inter, Mauro still has a contract with the Nerazzurri.”
