Emiliano Viviano has admitted that he has no regrets about how his time as an Inter player went almost a decade ago as he found himself bounce around clubs due to co-ownership changes.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper joined Inter in a co-ownership deal with Brescia back in January 2009 and spent the remainder of the 2009/10 season out on loan at Bologna, who then purchased 50% of his rights from Brescia that Summer.
Ahead of the 2011/12 season, Genoa purchased Bologna’s stake in him in return for giving Inter a 50% stake in Juraj Kucka. Palermo then took over Genoa’s stake half-way through that season and would go on to purchase Viviano outright in the Summer transfer window in 2012.
“I wanted to play as I was young. I only have positive memories from my time at Inter because they are a club who treated me fantastically,” he said in an interview with Italian magazine SoccerMagazine.
“I am not someone someone who has many regrets. After all, I got to go away and experience other cities and meet new people.”
