Inter could be set to replace current sporting director Piero Ausilio with Parma sporting director Daniele Faggiano at the end of the current season according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Ausilio’s contract with the club is due to expire at the end of the campaign and it had looked almost inevitable that he would sign a new contract for some time now but things now appear to have changed and it looks like he could be on his way out.

Faggiano has helped to mastermind Parma’s return to the big time following their liquidation and re-birth and is work has certainly not gone unnoticed by the Nerazzurri, who could move on from Ausilio, who has been involved with the club for around 20 years.

The report goes on to state that when Antonio Conte was appointed as the new Inter manager ahead of this season, he mentioned Faggiano, who is a good friend of his, to club management.
