Following Serie A’s latest attempt to take a stand against racism, Inter, and several other clubs, have taken to social media to also make it clear that they are completely against racism.
There have unfortunately been several high profile racist incidents this season in Serie A with Inter club record signing Romelu Lukaku among those to have been a victim of such abuse.
After years of the issue simply being brushed under the carpet, the league and clubs are now at work trying to eradicate the issue that is a real plague on the so-called beautiful game.
“There is no excuse for racism, just as there is no room for racism in football. We are BrothersUniversallyUnited and this is our way of fighting all forms of discrimination,” Inter posted.
