Inter and Udinese have a deal in place over Rodrigo de Paul for next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The two clubs have reached an agreement on the basis of a loan with option to buy transfer for the versatile Argentine international.

With a deal already in place between the clubs, the report goes on to state that it now remains to be seen if it could perhaps be completed six months in advance during the upcoming January transfer window.

Inter have made no secret of the fact that they wish to strengthen their midfield department and could well manage to do it sooner rather than later by bringing in de Paul.

The 25-year-old has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season for the Bianconeri, who he is contracted to until the end of the 2023/24 season. In 1047 minutes, he has scored one goal and provided two assists.
