Inter CEO Beppe Marotta discussed the Nerazzurri’s potential transfer market moves in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia ahead of Inter’s league clash against Genoa.
“Esposito? There is no need to put pressure on this guy who proudly comes from our youth system, another flagship of ours. He responds to the call and will certainly do so with great commitment, hopefully he can also give quality.”
Marotta then spoke about the upcoming January transfer window.
“We will look at the market in January not so much for repair, but with a view of seizing opportunities that may present themselves which, in my opinion, will be few. We certainly want to grow. We have had gone through these six months in an extraordinary way, at a very high level, and we want to continue this climb. We know that the squad is a bit reduced, if there are opportunities we will take them because we want to be competitive.”
