Chelsea will only let one of Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

Inter have taken an interest in signing Alonso whilst their arch-rivals Juventus would like to sign Palmieri. With Chelsea only willing to let one of the two go, the clubs will need to move quickly to try and beat the other to ensure they do not miss out on the target they are after.

The report from the Milanese newspaper goes on to state that reinforcing the midfield remains the priority for Inter.

Inter are strongly interested in both Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal and Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski but deals for both players look to be difficult.

Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul is another believed target of the Nerazzurri but it is understood that the Bianconeri club wish to keep a hold of the versatile Argentine until the end of the season.
