In an interview with Krone.at, Valentino Lazaro has spoken on how he has adapted to life at the Nerazzurri among other topics.
“I am improving day after day and also getting better with the language too,” he began.
He then spoke on the topic of racism in football, with several high profile incidents occurring this season, including to Lazaro’s Inter teammate Romelu Lukaku.
“The fact it is 2019 and we are still talking about racism is sad. We have to act seriously. There can be no place for racism in our world.”
Next he spoke on his new manager at Inter, Antonio Conte.
“He is a world class manager. He works on every little detail and gives great importance to tactics. His video analysis’ are extremely detailed. I think thanks to him we can reach a higher level as a team.”
In conclusion he shared his excitement ahead of this coming Summer’s EURO 2020: “We cannot wait. We want to do better than we did four years ago.”
