Nahitan Nandez is the player that Inter will go in for if unable to sign primary target Arturo Vidal in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
Inter remain in talks with Barcelona over the Chilean international but find themselves some way apart in talks. Inter want a loan with option to buy deal costing them €12 million whilst Barcelona want €20 million.
Inter continue to be optimistic about their chances of landing the 32-year-old former Juventus star though due to the fact he seemingly wants the move to happen and relations between the clubs are good.
The money raised through Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s presumed sale could be the difference between Inter getting Vidal and not getting him.
If a deal cannot be reached, Inter will then open talks with Cagliari over Nandez, who has starred for them since his arrival from Boca Juniors during the Summer transfer window. Inter will try and sign him on a loan with option to buy basis.
The report from the Turin newspaper goes on to add that Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl has been offered to the Nerazzurri club.
