Inter need to move an attacker on before swooping for Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Matteo Politano looks to be the most likely candidate to leave Inter’s attack in the upcoming January transfer window with Fiorentina, Atalanta, Parma and Napoli all having been linked with a move for him in recent weeks in the media.

The Nerazzurri have taken a keen interest in 33-year-old Giroud, whose contract is due to expire with the Premier League outfit at the end of the season.

French giants Lyon are also believed to be interested and have even proposed a two and a half year deal to the former Arsenal striker, which would see him earn €12 million in total, if he were to accept it.

The report also explains that Juventus are not truly interested in signing him either but are trying to push his price up and be a nuisance to their arch-rivals.
