Paris Saint Germain could agree to sell Layvin Kurzawa to Inter in January to do Inter a favour after Inter sent Mauro Icardi to them on favourable terms, according to a report in the print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
PSG sporting director Leonardo owes Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio the favour after they loaned Icardi to them for nothing with a €70 million option to buy attached – an option they will activate if Icardi agrees to stay in Paris permanently.
Inter have followed Kurzawa for some time and had originally planned to sign him up on a free transfer come the end of the season when his contract will expire but could well go in for him in the fast approaching January transfer window instead.
The 27-year-old has found playing time very hard to come by with him having been limited to just five appearances across all competitions this term.
Other targets for Inter include Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso and Parma’s Matteo Darmian.
