Kwadwo Asamoah followed a personalised training plan yesterday as the Inter team returned to training following a few days of rest over the festive period according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Ghanaian defender has been getting bother in one of his knees due to some of his cartilage and he has been forced to miss eight games as a result.

He did make a cameo appearance in the recent goalless draw against Roma but it was clear that the problem was still there and he was not moving and playing how he usually would.

It still remains to be seen when the 31-year-old could make a full recovery and it is for this reason that Inter are looking around for a new full back in the upcoming January transfer window.

As per various reports in the media, Parma’s Matteo Darmian and Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are all believed to be under consideration.
