Inter and Nike are set to take inspiration from the past to help create two of team’s three kits for next season according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport.
The home shirt will look similar to the 2010/11 home shirt, the season which Inter last won any form of silverware as they won both the Club World Cup and Coppa Italia.
The third shirt will meanwhile look similar to the shirt that Inter wore during their 1997/98 UEFA Cup triumph. This would not be the first time that this shirt inspired a new jersey either with one of Inter’s shirts between 2004 and 2006 bearing a resemblance to it as well.
The report goes on to state that the away shirt could be primarily white with a black and blue checker board design on it.
