Christian Eriksen has reiterated to Tottenham Hotspur management that he wishes to leave the club during the course of the January transfer window according to a report from British newspaper The Express.

The Danish playmaker’s contract is due to expire with the north London club at the end of the season but he does not wish to wait around and wants to leave within the next 31 days.

Eriksen’s desire to leave are not new with him also requesting to be allowed to leave last Summer but Spurs priced interested clubs out a move for their talisman, who has been with them since a 2013 move from Ajax.

The report goes on to add that whilst fellow Premier League club Manchester United have shown an interest in signing him, it is in fact Inter who are the current favourites to bring him in.

27-year-old Eriksen has made 22 appearances across all competitions this season. In little over 1200 minutes, he has scored three goals and given three assists to teammates.
