Inter have joined Barcelona in monitoring the situation of Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang according to a report from British newspaper The Mirror.

The Gabonese international’s future with the Gunners is surrounded by uncertainty and he has already pulled out of new contract talks and has also told Arsenal management that he wants to win trophies.

The 30-year-old’s contract with the north London club is due to expire at the end of next season and with Aubameyang seemingly wanting to be elsewhere, Arsenal will be forced to sell their captain this coming Summer to avoid losing him for nothing.

The report goes on to state that Arsenal will not allow Aubameyang, who joined from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, to depart during the January transfer window.

This season, the former AC Milan academy player, has made 24 appearances across all competitions. In almost 2000 minutes on the park, he has contributed 15 goals and also provided a single assist.
