Matteo Politano has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to reflect on the year gone by and share his excitement for the year ahead.
The 26-year-old, who joined Inter on a permanent basis this Summer from Sassuolo following a successful loan spell, has found himself fall down the pecking order at the club during the course of this season.
This season he has made 14 appearances across all competitions but just two of those appearances have come as a starter and he has spent just over 300 minutes on total on the pitch.
“2019 was an intense and very important year for my growth, but I already know that 2020 will be even more beautiful and stimulating! Happy new year to everyone,” he posted.
