In his latest column for Milanese newspaper Corriere della Sera, noted journalist Mario Sconcerti has shared what he thinks Inter need to bring in in the January transfer window.

“Inter need more options. Fernando Llorente is a good imitation of Romelu Lukaku whilst Alexis Sanchez can imitate Lautaro Martinez. Sebastiano Esposito gave a lot with his mere presence but it would be wrong to ask more of him,” he began.

“Inter also have no regista who can help out Marcelo Brozovic who cannot be obliged to have to play every minute of the season.

“Inter also need a new left back as Cristiano Biraghi is not up to par. He has a good left foot but his opponent goes by him too many times. Marcos Alonso is excellent and has something more than Biraghi and even Kwadwo Asamoah.”

He concluded by adding: “If I were Inter, I would not be so quick to give Matteo Politano away.”
