Arturo Vidal has not changed his mind and still wishes to leave Barcelona during this transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
The Chilean international midfielder has grown frustrated over his lack of play time this season and has even taken his current employers to court over an alleged breach of contract on their behalf.
The 32-year-old, who has been on their books since a 2018 move from German powerhouses Bayern Munich, has drawn intense links with a move to Inter, who are understood to see him as a number one transfer target.
Inter manager Antonio Conte wants new players brought in during January to help bolster the title charge he has Inter on and wants to be reunited with Vidal, who he worked under – and arguably got the best out of him – when at Juventus.
As per reports in the media, Barcelona are understood to be demanding around €20 million to part ways with him and Inter’s reported offers for him still fall short of this mark.
