Noted Italian football agent Oscar Damiani has shared his views on Inter’s continued pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal.
“He is a player who has a lot of character, personality and physical strength. He is a player that Inter have been missing and he would be a great signing for them,” he told Italian radio station TMW Radio.
“I do not know how much he would cost and if Barcelona want to give him away or not but if Inter manage to sign him, they will become even more competitive and can give Juventus a fight to the end for the title.”
As per many reports, Vidal is Inter’s number one priority for this transfer window and they have held talks with Barcelona over the want-away Chilean international.
Barcelona are seemingly adamant to let the 32-year-old depart the club though as they still deem him an important player to their project, this despite his playing time this year suggesting otherwise.
