Inter management are continuing in their efforts to try and bring Arturo Vidal to the club during this transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wants several reinforcements brought in to strengthen his side’s title bid and Vidal is believed to be his number one transfer target.

The 32-year-old Chilean international wants to leave Barcelona having grown frustrated by his lack of playing time but Barcelona, as per reports, are adamant that they do not wish to let him go.

The report goes on to add that Inter are interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen. The Danish playmaker’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season but Inter will need to move quick with Real Madrid currently leading the race for his signature.

On top of a midfielder, Conte also wants a new striker and left back brought in. Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud and Napoli’s Fernando Llorente are both being considered for striker whilst Emerson Palmieri, Marcos Alonso and Matteo Darmian are all under consideration for left back.
