Inter are one of four clubs interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen according to a report from British newspaper The Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old Danish international’s contract is due to expire with the north London club come the end of the season and he is understood to have no intention of extending his stay with them.
He wishes to leave for a new challenge elsewhere after six and a half years with Spurs, who he has made 300 appearances for since arriving from Ajax back in the Summer of 2013.
Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus have all also shown an interest in signing him.
With under six months left on his contract, Eriksen is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any interested clubs and due to this, Spurs are open to dealing him away in January to at least get something for him.
As per the report, Spurs want £25 million, which is approximately €30 million, for him but none of the four interested parties are willing to cough that up due to knowing they can land him for nothing.
