Inter have won the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur superstar Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The 27-year-old is arguably the most attractive pending free agent out there and Inter have beaten several top clubs to his signature including arch-rivals Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Spurs are well aware of this fact and therefore have slapped a price tag of €20 million on the Danish international’s head in a last ditch attempt to try and garner some money for him rather than lose him for nothing in six months time.
For the time being Inter have no interest in signing him now due to their ongoing pursuit of Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal who is a player manager Antonio Conte is absolutely desperate to have signed.
Moreover, unless sales are made, Inter cannot go beyond loan with option or obligation to buy offers, something that is impossible to do with a player with just six months left on his contract.
