Inter have seen an offer for Marcus Acuna rejected by his club Sporting according to a report in today’s print edition of Libero.

Due to Chelsea’s demands for both Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri, which Inter deem to be excessive, they now appear to have fixated their attention on the 28-year-old Argentine.

Inter made a loan offer for Acuna which came with an option to buy set at €10 million but Inter will need to go back in with a new offer with their first offer falling short of the Portuguese club’s demands for him.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to also provide an update with regard to Inter’s pursuit for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal.

Vidal is understood to be Inter’s number one transfer target for this transfer window but they may be forced to wait to sign him. Due to Arthur picking up an injury, Barcelona could delay things until he is back fit.
