Marcos Acuna is keen on a move to Inter and now the Nerazzurri club must reach an agreement with Sporting according to a report in today’s print edition of Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter are willing to make a loan with option to buy set between €10-15 million for the Argentine international full back but this offer is unlikely to be accepted by the Portuguese giants who want cash upfront for the 28-year-old.

Having appeared to have been put off by Chelsea’s high demands for Marcos Alonso, Acuna would appear to be Inter’s number one target to strengthen at full back during this window.

The report does however go on to state that Inter are looking at several other players in the event that they cannot land the former Racing Club player.

Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo is an idea despite the fact he will be anything but cheap especially given he has a €60 million release clause.

Paris Saint Germain duo Layvin Kurzawa and Thomas Meunier are both all players that Inter are interested in. The pair have contracts that expire at the end of the season and Inter want to bring them in on a free in the Summer but may need to try bring one in early if needs must.

Parma’s Matteo Darmian also continues to be seen as an alternative by the Nerazzurri leadership.
