Noted Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti has shared his views on what signing Arturo Vidal would mean for Inter and their title aspirations.

“Inter has already bridged the gap with Juve, they are at the top of the league and on a par with them,” he said in an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio.

“Signing Vidal would not make them favourites for the title but they would be signing a player who has characteristics that the squad has been missing.

“Inter have a lot more motivation when it comes to the league than Juventus do and this motivation is important.

“Vidal is a complete player, he is experienced and he is physically well. He can help everyone at Inter, especially the likes of Nicolo Barella.

“Sensi can act as reserve for Marcelo Brozovic at regista and he is an important midfielder. I would not do without Sensi, but of course Vidal and Brozovic are more ready than Sensi.”
