It is looking increasingly likely that Stefano Sensi will be starting in Inter’s first game back after the winter break against Napoli on Monday according to the online edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Sensi has missed half of the season so far as a result of a recurring thigh problem but appears to have overcome this issue as evidenced by his 20 minute cameo appearance in Inter’s most recent match against lowly Genoa.

The Italian international joined Inter in a season long loan with option to buy deal from fellow Serie A club Sassuolo in the Summer and made a profound impact in the early weeks of the season, an impact Inter will undoubtedly be hoping he can continue to make upon his return.

The 24-year-old has made 11 appearances across all competitions this season. In 666 minutes on the field, he has scored three goals and also provided four assists for his teammates in that time.
