Cagliari have no interest in entertaining Inter’s idea of a swap deal that would involve Radja Nainggolan and Nahitan Nandez according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Nainggolan returned to the Sardinian club on a season long loan from Inter and having regained some of his best form, seemingly wants to remain with them past the end of this spell.

It could well be the case that Inter simply loan him out to them for the duration of next season as well but Inter’s interest in Nahitan Nandez has led to them thinking about the possibility of a swap deal.

Cagliari are not interested for the time being due to the fact Nandez is worth twice as much as Nainggolan is but at the same time, tensions between Nandez’s representatives and Cagliari management are thought to be high due to an issue with image rights.

Nandez himself is believed to be unhappy with the approach his agents have taken but if things cannot be sorted, Cagliari’s stance may change as a swap deal with Nainggolan would ultimately put an end to the trouble, the report concludes.
