Inter could raise their offer for Marcos Acuna to €12 million according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport.
This offer is unlikely to be enough to convince Sporting to part ways with him though with the report stating that the Portuguese giants want €20 million for the 28-year-old Argentine full back.
There is still clearly some distance to be made up between supply and demand but the distance is not as large as it is for the likes of Chelsea pair Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri, both of whom Inter had looked at before being priced out of moves.
Alsono and Palmieri are Conte’s first two options and he has made that clear to Inter management but Chelsea do not seem like they will drop their demands whatsoever, despite the fact both players are on the fringes of the squad.
The report goes on to conclude that Paris Saint Germain’s Layvin Kurzawa is also a player under consideration but is not as intriguing as the other options.
