Inter have identified Sporting’s Marcos Acuna as an alternative to Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport 24.

Chelsea’s high demands for 29-year-old Alonso, which some reports in the media recently have suggested are as high as €40 million, have led to Inter looking elsewhere as they look to satisfy manager Antonio Conte’s demands for a new left back.

Inter are looking for a new left back due to Kwadwo Asamoah’s injury problems and due to none of the other options entirely convincing when called upon.

The report goes on to state that Inter are also at work trying to sign themselves a new striker. Conte wants a striker brought in capable of playing as back-up to Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud is one option being considered. His contract is up at the end of the season but Chelsea’s high demands to let him go in January could ultimately force Inter to look elsewhere.
