In an interview with Naples based newspaper Il Mattino, Inter legend Sandro Mazzola has shared his views ahead of the Nerazzurri’s match against Napoli.
“They are teams that can play good football and have quality. I am convinced that it will be a good, hard fought and difficult match between them,” he explained.
“Napoli have experienced a surprisingly troubled first half of the season. Inter are fine even if there has been some controversy.
“Inter fans have stopped me in the street and told me that they fear that the team may falter in the second half of the season as has happened in the last few seasons.”
He was then asked if he thinks Inter can go on to win the Serie A title this season.
“In some moments I like to think about Inter as possible title winners and in others I do not. I am not referring to the technical or athletic aspects of the team but rather the mentality of the team. They are not always able to keep the tension high.”
