In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Napoli defender Giovani Di Lorenzo has insisted they are ready to take on Inter on Monday night.
“It is true that we head into this match during a particularly poor period but we are a strong team and we are not afraid of anyone,” he started.
“We always go onto the field with a view to winning. We always play to win the three points. Three of our next four games are at home and we have to take advantage of this because playing at a full Stadio San Paolo really makes a difference.”
He then spoke on Inter’s free scoring strike force of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, who he and his fellow defenders will be tasked with keeping out.
“They are two great strikers and they are both doing well at the moment but there is more to Inter than just them. Inter are an important team who are having a great season but we are playing at home and we are ready.”
