Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has made a move to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

As per the report, Marotta’s move for the Danish playmaker totals €20 million with that cost being the combined total of the transfer fee and salary which has been offered.

Despite this, Inter manager Antonio Conte still wants Arturo Vidal brought in first as he wants a player with Serie A experience to help bolster the team’s midfield.

Conte has made it clear to club management that if the funds are not there to sign both players then the priority should be Vidal and then Eriksen can be discussed again later down the line.

The report from the Milan based newspaper also goes on to state that Conte wants a new striker brought in to play as back-up to Romelu Lukaku and wants one of Olivier Giroud and Fernando Llorente to be signed.
