Diego Godin will return to the Inter starting line-up for tonight’s match away to Napoli according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The veteran Uruguayan defender will come in in place of youngster Alessandro Bastoni having been an unused substitute in each of Inter’s past two Serie A games against Fiorentina and Genoa.

Godin, who arrived at Inter on a free transfer during the Summer transfer window, will play alongside Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar in Inter’s three-man back-line to take on an underachieving Napoli side at the Stadio San Paolo.

The report from the Turin newspaper goes on to state that Stefano Sensi is likely to start on the substitutes bench despite a whole host of recent reports suggesting he would start.

Inter’s midfield will therefore be made up by Marcelo Brozovic, who will be returning to the line-up after suspension, Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini.
