Dries Mertens is yet to make a decision on what he wants to do with regard to his future according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Belgian international attacker’s contract with Napoli is due to expire at the end of this season and both Inter and Borussia Dortmund are understood to have taken an interest in signing him on a free transfer.

He is well aware of the interest from both clubs but also aware that Napoli are willing to offer him a two year contract extension.

The 33-year-old is understood to however be looking for a three year deal in what will probably be his last big contract of his career. He could accept a two year deal from Napoli but in order to do so, he would want certain guarantees from the club.

The report from the Roman newspaper goes on to add that he will miss tonight’s match against Inter due to injury.
